Persuade Editor Recommendations: What’s on our radar this November 2024

Being discerning individuals, we tend to be very particular in where we spend our hard earned cash. We also have lots of experience with purchase regret – hey, we never said we were perfect! Each month, we’ll select what’s on our radar and the items we recommend – both things we’ve purchased as well as covet.

A Quickie Mani

Quickies $29.97, getquickies.com

For those of us who never seem to have time to it the salon for a mani, Quickies make it easy with their fun designs and lengths. No time for a salon visit before a big presentation? Pop on some press ons while you review your slides. Also great for fancy events and being photo ready from tip to top. Hello George, I’m ready for my close up… of my nails.

Factoring in Lunch Time

Factor Meals, Starting at $89.94, factormeals.ca

We’re loving how convenient ordering pre-made meals to our door has been lately – and it has saved us not only time but money in the long-run! No more UberEats orders because we’re too tired to make lunch or cook after a long day of work – just pop a Factor in the microwave and 2 minutes later: a delicious and healthy meal! Much faster than trying to decide what to order in. Now we’ve got more time to put our master plans into action. (Strokes imaginary moustaches.)

Safety First

Touchland Power Mist Hydrating Hand Sanitizer, $17.50, Albura Beauty Supply

We’re still being cautious post-pandemic but we also appreciate nice things. Touchland’s Hand Sanitizer is an editor favourite. Not only does it sanitize our hands from touching questionable things we’d rather not have to, it also moisturizes and smells divine. Our favourite scent? A toss between Watermelon and Mango. You’ll need to stock up as once you spray, everyone will want in on a little spritz.

A Conversational Accessory

Lesley Hampton Chrome Purse, $87.00, lesleyhampton.com

This purse by Indigenous designer Lesley Hampton not only carries all the things you’ll need for a night out on the town but it will also start conversations with strangers. If you’re not into talking to strangers, you an simply place it on the table and admire it as the piece of art it is.
